NRF-STINT U2U collaboration on community based health systems launched
The National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa, in partnership with the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT)
The National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa, in partnership with the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT), hosted a 2-day kick-off / launching workshop for the 2016 funded joint projects under the Swedish/ South Africa science and technology cooperation.The workshop took place on 16-17 March 2017 in Pretoria.
Professor Helen Schneider and Dr Nelisiwe Maleka from School of Public Health – University of the Western Cape and Professor Anna-Karin Hurtig from Department of Public Health and Clinical Medicine – Umeå University presented their 3-year research collaborative programme: Health Policy and Systems Research: Strengthening community based health systems during the workshop. The team further had discussion and planning for the upcoming U2U collaboration workshop on community based health systems scheduled for 20 – 24 November 2017 to be held in South Africa.
