I am a research scientist, working with the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR), in Tanzania. I’m a public health specialist holding a Masters and PhD in Public health certificates graduated at the University of Western Cape in 2011-MPH and 2018- PhD. I have more than 15 years of experience in research on HIV, TB, Non- communicable diseases, Malnutrition and Pediatrics cancer. My research experience draws on various disciplinary perspectives and using qualitative and quantitative approaches from health facilities and community-based research. I have strong abilities in research coordination, project management, community engagement and mobilization.
I have applied and won some grants, published and presented at local and international conferences. I supervise and mentor young scientists and participate in special task/assignments in My country. I’m so grateful to the SOPH-UWC. You did a great job in building my capacities to this level. Thank you so much.
