New book with contribution from SOPH colleagues out. The edited book entitled ‘Health for the People: National Community Health Worker Programs from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe’ is a compendium of case studies of 29 national CHW programs. This is possibly the most current and most complete description of large-scale CHW programs available at present.
The book featurs a chapter contribution from SOPH colleagues Helen Schneider and David Sanders entitled ‘Ward-Based Primary Health Care Outreach Teams in South Africa’.
