The 4th Edition of the Blended Learning Workshop with AI-Integration – “Get Started, Keep Moving”

Hosted by: Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta (Indonesia) Face-to-Face 06-10 July, 2026

The Distance/Blended Learning Workshop was a five-day, face-to-face professional development programme designed to bridge the gap between subject matter experts and technical expertise. Across 5-days, the participants strengthened their capacity to design, develop, and deliver engaging online learning experiences. The workshop combined hands-on activities in applying evidence-based learning design principles and emerging AI technologies in education.

Throughout the workshop, participants refine an e-learning project proposal, create and demonstrate interactive instructional videos, develop AI-supported learning activities such as self-assessments, and build a well-organised course on a learning management system (LMS). The programme concludes in a showcase where participants present their completed projects, reflect on the role of AI in teaching and learning, and share best practices for designing high-quality, learner-centred online education.
