Ziyanda Mwanda is an e-Learning specialist, she contributes to the School of Public Health’s coursework programmes by preparing academic multimedia materials, providing e-learning support to both students and teaching staff within the school.

She leads the school’s innovation efforts in educational technology and virtual learning. She also coordinates the School’s presence on the University Learning Management System (LMS) – iKamva. Her research interests are around the use of social media to support distance and postgraduate students.

This project seeks to address the twin challenges of developing capacity for training and research in pharmaceutical public health and doctoral education, and contributing to the goal of strengthening health and pharmaceutical systems capable of sustainably addressing key threats to health.
