This module was created to help prepare individuals in the fields of health and welfare to gain an understanding of the concepts and practice of Health Promotion.
The main purpose of this module is to introduce you to the Comprehensive Primary Health Care Approach: its origins, rationale, philosophy, theory, concepts and practices.
The module aims to introduce you to a wide range of Public Health issues which will then be developed in more detail across the other five modules of this programme.
